Also, I haven't reported on J.K. Rowling's Commencement Speech, which of course was amazing! You HAVE to go read it, or better yet watch it, here! I was almost in tears at one point during the speech. Our seats weren't too bad either, we could see the stage, but were a little far away for pictures, but we planted ourselves right behind the big screen so I got some good pics of her on that. Anyway, she is one of my heroes and it was so great to hear her speak live.
This weekend was a little cooler, like I said, so I didn't do too much outside other than walking to the Library with my roommate. I was able to go see Prince Caspian finally and loved it! Seriously, go see it! And if you haven't read the books you have to! They are some of my favorite stories and I think Prince Caspian is one of the best.
Plus, so exciting, but I got to see a trailer for Twilight before the movie!! Oh my gosh, I was freaking out! There are some things that turn me into a total "tween" and Twilight is one of them. So in honor of my excitement I thought I'd share the trailer with you too! Enjoy!

I can't wait for that movie to come out!
Thanks for the JKR speech, I listened to the whole thing. That movie looks so good, but that's not what I pictured him like. I guess I'm getting old!
Yea!! I excited for that movie to come out. I know I'll have to go with a bunch of girls cause Jordan wouldn't want to go. I watched the JK Rowling speach. I bet it was so cool to be there to witness that.
Hi Carly! Do you remember me? Noelle gave me your blog address. We are also in Boston and I would love to get together and catch up with you sometime!
Hi Carly;
I read 'Twilight' too...I liked the story line, but I guess I'm a little too critical about her writing...I kept praying she would get a thesaurus and look up some alternitives to the word "beautiful"...but other than that....anyway, I'm just a crabby old lady I guess, the movie looks good though. Did you ever read "Tuck Everlasting" or see the movie? I thought the movie was a good interpretation of the book. Anyway, I like reading your blog and seeing what you're doing in your exciting life...keep up the good work!
love,
Aunt Crabby (Debbie)
P.S. Did you see Hancock? The special effects were good, but I LOVED the storyline, I'd be interested to read something else by whoever wrote the screenplay...anyway...I'm just sayin'...
PS again...
Hey Carly, I was just looking at some of your links and wondered who Karen Russell is? Does she design stuff for scrapbooking? I have had an idea for a product for a long time that is not available anywhere in the market (hey...I do my research) anyway, I would love to just give it to somebody who knows how to 'get things to market' so to speak. Your thoughts?
love again,
Aunt Crabby (Debbie)
Hey there! Hope all is well in Boston! Sounds fun!
